A traditional Cornish farm workers cottage turned into a superb holiday home for six people. Sit in the garden or in front of the wood burner for a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. A king room with en suite shower, a twin room and a bunk room (full size 3′). There is also a family bath/shower room.

The lounge diner has a wood burner, TV with blu-ray player and a CD stereo system. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Full central heating, linen, towels and WiFi internet included. The Games Room is available just a short 100m walk further down the private road.  This contains a pool table, ping pong, darts and a selection of board games along with books and a DVD library all free to use for the guests.

Best family holiday cottage ever!
For the first time I have visited a holiday cottage where the attention to detail is fab! Everything you can imagine for a perfect holiday has been catered for – baby gates, cutlery, board games, welcome with traditional Cornish scones jam and clotted cream… even the tea and coffee provided was Cornish! The owners are really friendly and my son got to play with the chickens and the lovely guinea pig Edgar. Beautiful views, spacious and modern accommodation!

East Park cottage is a Victorian farm cottage set in the countryside near Boscastle. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries

Car Parking, Arrival and Front Door

Outside the cottage is mainly level with slight uneven paving
The threshold and entrance step is 20cm high.
The front door is 74cm wide
One parking space is within 8m of front door
Additional parking 16m from front door across quiet private road
The Cottage

All doors have 72cm openings.
Flooring upstairs is short pile carpet. Downstairs is slate flooring throughout, slightly uneven with mats.
Furniture is moveable and all is non feather.
Teletext TV provided with remote control (also available are DVD, stereo with CD, radio and tape)


The front door opens into the kitchen with breakfast area, 92cm high worktop.
A door leads to the dining/living area.
There are patio doors with 3 steps leading from the living/dining area to the front garden. The garden can also be accessed from the front door around the side of the cottage.


The stairs are spiraled with 2 small landings. 21cm high and 24cm deep and 72cm wide with a handrail on the left.
Master bedroom with 4’6” bed with shower en suite
Second bedroom has 2 single beds
Third bedroom with 3′ bunk beds
Non Feather duvets and pillows provided.
The corridor upstiars leeds to three bedrooms and the bathroom. There is a step between 2 of the bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The bath/shower in the family bathroom has a removable nonslip map and is tear shaped.

Grounds and Gardens

The garden is adjacent to the main parking space and is generally flat.
Further gardens and Games room are 100m away
The further gardens have in two places, 4 uneven granite steps, 22cm high and 27cm long


Entrance threshold step of 15cm and is width is 70cm
A corridor leads to the games area with a 1m ramp with 10cm slope
The laundry room doorway is 76cm wide
The Computer/Telephone room has a step across a slope 0 =cm to 10cm with a door width of 76cm
The flooring is slate with some mats

Additional Information

Mobile phone reception is poor, but generally works outside.
