Local Area

We think we're pretty blessed; there's lots of countryside, plenty of coast, more than enough sandy beaches and all sortes of history. Did we mention there's great food and drink to enjoy too?

Local Villages

If you’re after postcard-perfect fishing and coastal villages during your stay, then there’s plenty of those on our doorstep. From Boscastle to Port Isaac (famous for Doc Martin if you’re wondering why you recognise it), great food, drink and hospitality awaits you.

Local Eating

Whilst our cottages are all self catering, we know that you won’t always want to cook for yourselves. That’s why we’ve put five generations-worth of knowledge (and testing) into one easy section for you – find the best seafood, pub grub and more by clicking the button below.

Local Attractions

No matter if you’re looking for a fun day out or to soak in plenty of Cornish heritage, there’s something for everyone within a short drive of Cagurra Farm. We’ve included some of the best known, as well as few that our family also love.

Local Beaches

If you’re heading to Cornwall it wouldn’t be right not to visit the beach would it? Fortunately the North Coast is the place to be for that and we’re pretty close. There’s five for you to choose from on the link below – all of which have that golden sand!

National Trust

Because we’re surrounded by heritage and history, your National Trust membership will take you a long way. A trip to Tintangel and The Old Post Office will be your closest, whilst Lanhydrock is popular if you travel a little further.

Local Walks

Whether you’re exploring the South West Coast Path, taking a leisurely stroll to the charming village of Boscastle, or walking across the fields to the local pub in Tresparrett, there’s something for every level of walker.
