4 Miles

Crackington Haven is the nearest beach to Cargurra Park Farm, with a lengthy pebbly shoreline known for its excellent surfing and rock pooling opportunities. There is parking conveniently located directly across from the beach, along with several cafes along the waterfront. Be sure to check tide schedules, as high tide leaves very little beach area to enjoy. During the peak season, a lifeguard is on duty. Note that dogs are not allowed from Easter Sunday until October 1st.

10 Miles

Heading toward Bude, you’ll discover Widemouth Bay and Black Rock, which together form a huge beach. Widemouth Bay features a wide sandy stretch (with some pebbles depending on the season), making it perfect for families looking to swim, surf, or beachcomb. With plenty of parking, lifeguards available during high season, and designated dog-friendly areas at Black Rock, it’s ideal for a full day of fun.

Summerleaze Beach, located in Bude, is a spacious, sandy beach celebrated for its scenic charm and welcoming environment for families. Just minutes away from Bude’s town center, it boasts breathtaking views and is and home to a tidal sea pool ideal for safe swimming. The beach attracts surfers, paddleboarders, and those looking to unwind on its golden sands, with lifeguards present during the summer season. 
17 Miles

Situated a few miles north of Bude, Sandymouth Beach is a breathtaking, untouched coastline renowned for its towering cliffs, rugged rock formations, and vast sandy stretches revealed at low tide. Known for its raw, natural beauty, the beach is perfect for scenic walks, rock pooling, and discovering its distinctive geological features. Surfers are drawn to its reliable waves, making it a popular spot for watersports.

Trebarwith Strand, located about a mile from Tintagel and accessible via the coastal path, is a multi-purpose beach well-suited for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing, with numerous rock pools to explore. At low tide, it unveils a nearly half-mile expanse of golden sand, along with ample parking and good facilities.

Polzeath, situated within the Camel Estuary, is renowned for its gentle, slow-breaking waves, making it an excellent spot for novice and intermediate surfers, especially in the summer. It’s also a great location for swimming and rock pooling, with lifeguards present during the high season. Dogs are restricted from the beach from Easter to October 1st.

Just a short drive from Cargurra Park Farm, Rock Beach is known as one of Cornwall’s most picturesque spots, featuring family-friendly waters ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and beach games. The calm waters and sandy stretches are the perfect recipe for a relaxing day by the sea, with plenty of nearby cafes to satisfy your cravings.

24 Miles

Daymer Bay, nestled between Rock and Polzeath at the mouth of the Camel Estuary, boasts tranquil waters perfect for swimming, windsurfing, paddleboarding, and canoeing. Its spacious, sheltered beach is ideal for families with young children. Enjoy scenic walks to Rock and take a foot ferry to Padstow. Lifeguards are on duty during the peak season.
